Punta Gorda, Florida, United States

$249,000

Manta Catamarans are  well regarded sailing catamaran which were purpose built for the private owner, not the charter market.

This owner has live aboard their 40' Manta for over 20 years!

Manta catamarans have developed and maintained a loyal following of knowledgeable cruisers. These yachts are known for their sound construction, excellent performance, and ease of sailing by one person.

Manta catamarans were built in Florida from the late 1990s to the late 2000s. The Manta is unmistakably recognizable from a distance with her trademark high bows and a massively curved integrated forward crossbeam.

Hull, deck, and bulkheads constructed of triaxial, biaxial, and unidirectional fiberglass with vinyl ester, isophthalic resins, and Divinycell composite foam cores (hull and deck) and Nida-core (sub-soles and bulkheads) that were all vacuum bagged.

This 40' Manta catamarans incorporates a great layout. refined deck systems, first-rate construction, and excellent performance. She is a well-equipped sailing vessel for long-distance blue water cruising with live-aboard amenities.

She features a brilliant U-shaped galley to port serves the dinette, across from which a serious navigation station sits. The port hull is a dedicated owner’s double cabin which includes a private head with separate shower.

Sleeps 4 comfortably in 2 staterooms on queen-sized beds. A third cabin is available forward sized for a standard bed.

The main salon on the bridge deck contains a well-equipped kitchen area, top-loading refrigerator/freezer, nav-station, electrical panels, dining area, and entertainment center.

She has a well equipped navigation station set up for worldwide cruising, and incorporates a chart-sized hinged countertop with chart storage beneath.

The salon area has access to the helm, and the port and starboard hulls. The bridge deck contains the kitchen/galley, navigation station, electrical panels, refrigerator/freezer, dining/settee area, entertainment area, wet locker, and storage cabinets.

The kitchen area has a built-in Corian sink countertop, 3-burner propane range/oven, drawers, and cabinets with a microwave oven. The cabinetry includes 2 drawers, with cabinets above and below the countertops.

Owner has taken the standard Manta and made innovative upgrades.
