2015 Bali 4.3

Hollywood, Florida, United States

$399,000

Ready-to-Sail spacious owners version Bali 4.3 Catamaran. This boat is beautiful inside and out and shows very little use even after owners lived and cruised the boat for the past 4 years.

Current owners have lived and said her around the Caribbean for the past 4 years. She is a fantastic way to cruise and "live your dream"!

  • Spacious and very comfortable to live aboard

  • The BALI 4.3 is characterized by having a single large area for the cockpit and the saloon with a 30 m² open space on a single level, entirely free of bulkheads, and accessed by a huge transparent door which is entirely retractable on pneumatic struts. With that, the saloon becomes a terrace with a sea view in a flash

  • A specious fly bridge with ~10 seatings+ table. Its Flybridge helm station with dedicated captain seat provides perfect visibility. At the rear of the flybridge an additional cushioned space - magnificent spot for sunbathing; Unique features available only on 50' and above catamarans.

  • Super equipped; A sought after owner version, equipped with massive battery bank, generator, 3-AC units, 1580w of solar and a mostly new suite of electronics, new 3000W + 2000W inverters, new bilge pumps, new 200' anchor chain and more.

  • Access to the engine rooms are exception with plenty of space around the engines for maintenance.
  • Huge full-Size Stainless Refrigerator / Freezer

The BALI 4.3 is characterized by having a single area for the cockpit and the saloon with a 30 m² open space on a single level, entirely free of bulkheads, and accessed by a huge glass door which is entirely retractable on pneumatic struts. With that, the saloon becomes a terrace with a sea view in a flash.

The Bali 4.3 — with an emphasis on an open floor plan, the maximum utility of onboard space and plenty of related creature comforts — is a significant departure from its Catana siblings, which certainly provide cozy accommodations but are also serious sailing machines. Relatively speaking, a Catana is about getting there; the Bali is about being there.

That’s where this new yacht comes in, because when it comes to kicking back, the 4.3 Loft is locked and loaded.

This is evident in the central feature of the Bali, the rather elaborate drop-down transom and lifting overhead door that converts the deck layout from a compartmentalized cockpit and main saloon into loft mode, which entails a wide-open indoor/outdoor patio and porch with a straight-line galley all the way forward.

But designer Olivier Poncin, in collaboration with architect Xavier Fay and interior decorator Couëdel Yacht Design, didn’t stop there. Forward of that unusually located galley, the big front picture window also opens, further obscuring the delineation of inside and outside spaces; in fair weather, it allows a coursing fresh breeze throughout the boat.

And the builders still weren’t finished, as the area all the way forward, between the hulls and right up to the bows — where you’d find the trampolines on traditional cats — has been decked over and furnished with cushions and settees. For a sailboat, it gives new meaning to the term “sun deck.”

Accomplishing all this presented two challenges to the designers and builders. First, they needed to generate lots of electricity to run the various motors (a pair is required for the movable overhead door and transom), appliances (don’t forget the dishwasher and optional washing machine and air conditioning), windlass and such. At the same time, they had to be ultrasensitive to saving weight in all that structure, as all those disparate and wondrous goodies also rack up displacement, and nobody wants a heavy, sluggish cat.

As for saving weight, the build is light and stiff thanks to the closed-mold, resin-infused, foam-core sandwich construction.

Tender and motor

Tender is included - as a gift , since owners purchased new but never registered the tender.

2018 Tohtsu 9.8 outboard motor is included

Watermaker

Watermaker is not  part of the equipment onboard and is not sold with the boat. Because it is untested, the Watermaker will be "given" to the new owner, and not sold with the boat equipment..

Most of  the parts are on board, including 2-RO filters, pressure pump, etc. in sealed bags.

The  Aqua-Base brand Watermaker is a "partial installation" . It is not working and the buyer get whatever is on board for free.

The high presure pump is a mechanical pump that gets its power from the
engine pulley. Most likely need some work to make it functional.
